About 1.5 cm, male. The 3rd & 4th pics was when they produce & squirt the liquid odor..

ID beyond doubt (have keyed it, specimen is male - conical tubercles on elytra missing in females) = Spathomeles dohrnii Gerstaecker, 1857. Species known from Java and Sumatra. Was searched for in the wrong Fungus beetle family (this: Endomychidae)

I only know Megalodacne varia and Megalodacne similima from Indonesia.

Hmmm.. The pattern of the abdomen is similar, maybe the other species of Micrencaustes have black pronotum.. The Megalodacne is dominant to N America, but there are some species of Micrencaustes in SE Asia.. Is there any species of Micrencaustes in SE Asia?

Jason, your Megalodacne was probably not so wrong! I would look for this one first, since I believe that it is not Micrencaustes sp., note the black pronotum in yours and the yellow markings in Micrencaustes sp.. What do you think?

Sorry for the wrong ID, I think that could be Micrencaustes sp.

Yes I saw these Megalodacne sp. on the web, but one was at least wrong IDed. There might be the species Varia or Similima from your aera. But I do not know them personally ;-)...

Thanks for ID bayucca.. This beetle is a same species with http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/20875069 , maybe these are the female and the male one..
