Well, it seems that in a couple of species, the younger the moth, the greenier the color...There is also X. crotonis, and X. letirantis similar in color and shape... http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/SphColombia.htm

X. porcus looks too brown in my thoughts. I used the same website (Kirby Wolfe), and I think X. porcus is too brown and lacked the lines on the forewings. http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/xporcus.htm

There are so many Xylophanes, I'm not sure we can get to a species, but you did say it was found at 2000m, so maybe altitude might help with this one...
