Description:

The Sooty Copper (Lycaena tityrus) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Europe. The wingspan is 28–30 millimetres (1.1–1.2 in). The butterfly flies from April to September, depending on the location.

Habitat:

Grassy woodland margin near the village Stavropotamos (Kastoria, Greece).
