Field Notes

Description:

This gorgeous little Crimson Finch male has a gray head with the crimson colour extending to the rump - upper-tail coverts and full length of tail. It has a black central on the abdomen and under-tail coverts.

Habitat:

In the high grass, amongst trees along the bank of the Dog Chain Creek (with flowing water).
