Description:

This was an empty Red-winged Blackbird nest. Seen while kayaking. Bunches love to nest in the mangroves. Earlier that season we saw the females laying in them.

Habitat:

Mangroves in shallow water next to river.

Notes:

Picture was taken in St. Augustine, FL.
