Field Notes

Description:

These are young Grey Fantails. The white patch under the throat is just beginning to show and the black band is just beginning to become visible. Instead of a white eyebrow, it is buff coloured.

Habitat:

Squished together in a tree along the bank of the Frankland River.

Notes:

It was quite by chance I spotted these two little ones sitting on the branch! I have never seen young Grey Fantails before and here were two :)
