Habitat:

This Jumping Spider was spotted on a Hyacinth bean (Lablab purpureus L.) growing at the back corner of our house. In the Philippines, this plant is called "Bataw". Plant information is from http://www.stuartxchange.org/Bataw.....

Notes:

Salticidae; Salticinae; Heratemita alboplagiata Simon, 1899. According to Wikipedia, the World Spider Catalog lists only three species in the Genus Heratemita. They are H. alboplagiata (Philippines), followed by H. chrysozona and H. tenenbaumi (both in Sumatra). The presence of H. alboplagiata in the Philippines is also confirmed by gbif.org'
