Field Notes

Description:

Black elongated body, conical tubercles grouped in clusters pale pink in colour same as edge of the mantle, rhinophores are black.
About 40mm in size.

Habitat:

Spotted at Pulu Cinta - Sulawesi, a sandy atoll reef, is commonly found in rocky habitats coral rubble and reefs at depths of 4-26m, and It is one of the most common nudibranchs throughout the tropical Indo-West Pacific.
It has been observed feeding on an orange encrusting sponge of the genus Stylinos.
