Description:
A fantastic dry gum-leaf mimic with a wing span of about 50 mm. Fore wings had 3 dark marks along the costa with dark patterns all over looking like a drying leaf. Wing tips were pointed and tinted red mimicking a leaf stalk.The wings were held flat on either side of body with the abdomen slightly off the midline, giving it the name "twisted".
The barely visible hind wings show dark ringed white marks.
Habitat:
Found among leaf litter under a gum tree near a national park (Dandenong Ranges)
