Field Notes

Description:

A large heavy bodied moth with brown and white stripes, fast moving wings that actually buzz. The back of the wings have red on them.

Notes:

At first I thought it was a hummingbird, but no! It was my first ever sphinx moth. Apparently they are diurnal.
