Field Notes

Description:

A small locust with black tipped wings
This species differs from last by having markings of a diamond on its prothorax rather than parallel lines.

I believe the orange shank is diagnostic for locusts.

Comments (1)

I've changed the ID to Caledia captiva. I do not think it is the locust Choroicetes terminifera.
