Description:

Fluorescent green beetle. Similar in size to a lightning bug (firefly).

Habitat:

Observed on the rocks along the Red River, beneath various mature hardwood trees. Adjacent to a hayfield on a farm. Todd County, Kentucky.

Notes:

Moves fast. Alights, and then lands again.
