Description:
Manduca sexta, also known as the tobacco horn worm, is a common pest known to feed on plants of the nightshade family. They undergo five developmental changes (instars) as larvae, pupate, and emerge as the tobacco hawk moth (also known as sphinx).
Habitat:
This was found on one of my mother’s pepper plants.
