Description:

White 5 petal flower. this plant is isolated and is but 0.5 meter in height.

Habitat:

Floodplain of tributary of a lake in temperate zone.

Notes:

Had a great comment which made me look more into the classification.
Synonym(s): Hibiscus californicus, Hibiscus lasiocarpos var. occidentalis, Hibiscus leucophyllus, Hibiscus moscheutos ssp. lasiocarpos, Hibiscus moscheutos var. occidentalis, Hibiscus platanoides.

You have some great shots on your site. Thanks for rose-mallow id. If you get a chance, take a close look at this site. It is north of the Y camp and along the path next to the small west trending tributary.
