Field Notes

Description:

White moth with a small amount of tan markings, about 1.5 cm long. The front legs are extended forward at rest and are very hairy. Lymantriidae?

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light, Finca Argovia, Ruta de Café, Soconusco Area of Chiapas, about 2 hours north of Tapachula.
