Field Notes

Description:

Strepsigonia affinis - a moth resting on a large leaf. This Drepanid has a distinctive wing shape. The wing patterns are not strong. Less then 30mm in wingspan.

Habitat:

Forest area around Bombalai Jungle Lodge in Tawau Hills Park, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy: 20m diameter. Spotted this during a walk alone near our hostel late in the afternoon. Special thanks to Agnes Adique Talavera and Dr. Roger Kendrick for identifying this.
