Description:

Small member of the Pipridae family, about 9 cm, the males are black with a blue crown , females anr olive green, This little birds are seen in the middle levels of the primary rainforest, where they look for fruits and small insects to eat.
The species is consider common but also very shy so it is hard to photograph

Habitat:

Rainforest, mostly f[primary areas, gaps

found from Costa Rica (central Pacific) Panamá Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Bolivia,
