Field Notes

Description:

Orangish cheek, yellow dull head with a sharp black bill, black stripe through eye and under chin. Wings and back grey and brown. Short dull yellow tail. Underside appears to be dull light yellow.

Habitat:

Large marsh.

Notes:

Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area, British Columbia, Canada. Ramsar site no. 649.
