Field Notes

Description:

A small black-colored bird with white markings looking at us through the gap in the wooden fence 6 meters away from us. The Malaysian Pied Fantail is one of the 3 Fantail species in Borneo. It has a distinctive angry-look on it's face.

Habitat:

Open areas between the park headquarter and the oil palm plantation opposite it, Tawau Hills Park, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:
