Field Notes

Description:

This is not really a black rice as it was called. It is a bit darker than the brown rice then it gets even darker when cooked. It is more expensive but tastier than the brown and white rice.

Habitat:

It grows well in sandy loam soil and it prefers a drier soil than the white rice.
