Description:

Female. Orange and brown medium butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is similar to the Large Brown (L. maera) but the last one tends to be more uniformly brown.

Habitat:

Spotted at an open oak forest. Reserva de la Biosfera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
