Field Notes

Description:

A small yellow crab with a squareish carapace. The carapace and legs had a fragmented pattern of thin red lines. Eyes were on short stalks.

Habitat:

Spotted close to the shore on Westernport Bay, floating with a few smaller crabs of same species- all dead.

Notes:

Still looking for an ID.
