Description:

Flambuoyant Cuttlefish is one of the most colourful Cuttlefish, hence its name. This one was just a juvenile, around 2 cm in size. Adults can grow up to 10 cm with the Females usually larger than tthe Males.
Pic#1 is a of Pic#2 & Pic#3 side by side to show the same animal in different colours and camouflage. When they are resting, they usually tone down their colours as in Pic#3. When moving around or hunting, they will be flashing their bright colours as in Pic#2

Habitat:

They are mostly found in sandy bottom or among coral rubbles from shallows of 5 meters to easily 20-30 meters depth of tropical waters.
