Description:
Small jumping spider to 3-4 mm long. Abdominal pattern is similar to Cosmophasis micarioides but the head does not have the coloured iridescent blue/brown bands. Beautiful iridescence on the head of this specimen (blue, yellow, pink) and blue bands on the legs.
Habitat:
Seen on Ageratum on edge of forest at James Cook University, Cairns QLD
Notes:
Robert Whyte (www.arachne.org.au) has suggested that it is a juvenile and as such hard to ID to species.
