Description:

This female teal has a brown speckled body with spots of black and white. There is a small white patch at the base of her bill and small white line on her eye.

Habitat:

This teal was spotted in a group swimming on a pond. Is known to frequent small ponds and wetlands and migrates later than other ducks.
