Description:

Brownish, stout salamander with variable patterns along the back. Paired splotches of yellowish-red pigment are surrounded by dark lines.

Habitat:

Streams

Notes:

Recently "upgraded" from a subspecies of the Northern Dusky(D. fuscus).
