Field Notes

Description:

Tiny white flowers (1/8 inch wide) that grow in clusters. Plant height is 3-8 inches.

Habitat:

I found these flowers growing in patches along a nature trail on the bank of a river at Boyd Audubon.

Notes:

Native Americans traditionally used the entire plant and roots of Dwarf Ginseng for herbal remedies.
