There were several of these larvae feasting on fungi growing on a rotting log

Habitat:

Habitat: Feasting on fungi in a rural backyard

Notes:

Terrestrial larvae usually feed on fungi, especially fruiting bodies. However, the larvae of some species, while still being associated with fungi, are also partly predatory.
