Description:

Plant small, blackish green; leaves .7 mm or smaller. Costa subprecurrent; cells mostly 2 stratose along leaf margin, sinuose to smooth-nodose.

Habitat:

Found on granite slab among Grimmia caespiticia on heather pass 1724 meters, north cascades; Okanogan national forest
