Field Notes

Description:

A male and female mating pair of Cardinals. Both have vibrant colours and have been in the area for four to five years. The female has a red beak and grey feathers while the male has the beautiful red body, and black crest.

Habitat:

These birds live yearlong in Toronto and southern Ontario. They are very visible during the spring and summer months.
