Description:

Plant small - 1cm; brown when dry exposing green photosynthetic parts when wet; leaves 3mm, serrulate to entire, marginal teeth one cell.; leaf cross section with photosynthetic lamella filling the entire width of median part of lead. Each vertical column of lamella with featuring high papillae on distal cell

Habitat:

Exposed alpine soil bank.
