Field Notes

Habitat:

Throughout most of Florida in pinelands, hardwood hammocks, cypress
strands, prairies, marshes, streams, ponds, bogs, etc.

Notes:

Saw a couple of these today. they are extremely fast in disappearing into the underbrush and grasses. This one stopped on a cypress stump for a second, allowing me a couple of quick blurry shots. In pic one head is at the bottom of the fern to the top right of body. In pic two the red arrow points to the head.
