Field Notes

Description:

Unfortunately this one must have hit a telephone wire because I found it dead in the morning after a big storm. Beautiful blues, oranges and greens.

Habitat:

Scrubland, forest and bush.

Notes:

Seems to be migratory. We gave it to the nature centre. They said it was the first sighting in Crocker Range but I doubt that. It might go into the museum as an exhibit. It was certainly in better condition than some of the other exhibits on show.
