Description:
Plant small and compact, yellow-green; capitulum and sometimes branches poorly developed; plant sometimes without branches; stems dark brown; stem leaves small, less than 1mm; branch leaves 1.4 -3 mm squarrose, ovate and abruptly involute in distal portion, pores numerous;
Habitat:
Small cushion forming colony on top of Easy Ridge. 1838 meters. North Cascades NP. Associates: Sphagnum, Carex and Kalmia species.
