Field Notes

Description:

This bird measures 15.5 cm. The male is slender and has a flat beak. The upper parts are dark gray with white stripes on the wings. The lower parts are gray. The female is olive green and have the edges of the wing and tail in rusty color. The lower parts are yellowish.

Habitat:

It can be found in forest edges throughout Brazil.
