Field Notes

Description:

About 22mm long. Some weird stuff apparently pouring from the eye? Blue and other tints through elytra. Short moniliform antennae tucked under. Nine or ten striae. Pale underbody. Tips of gold setae on legs.

Habitat:

On a stone wall at night under lights at the local school.

...and I really am curious about the 'eggs' stuck on the back of the eye ?? (see last pic)

Heh.. yep strange face on this one. Can't sort out species because of that face..
This one looks a little alien. Men in Black kinda thing :-)
