Description:
The fruitbodies grows in colony on decaying wood, facing down. Above, carpophores are beige-grey, and zonate - producing concentric zones of rings of varied colours. I guess this green colour on carpophores is coming from algae or mosses, but this green is predominant. They are violet below, and pores produce an intricate maze design - I was intrigued by it, so I have taken one of branches back home and spend some photographing those beautiful mazes (Pics N° 4-6).
Habitat:
Found on a discarded and decaying branches laying around the lowland forest floor. The forest in question is broadleaved forest, predominantly oak, and is located in Geneva lake valley, close to habitations of Geneva suburbia.
