Field Notes
Description:
Also known as a blind snake; these little guys are very shiny and small they hunt by night and only eat small bugs. These snakes can easily be mistaken as worms but they lack the slimy texture and the fleshy look. They are very tiny and can easily be missed. This little guy was spotted on our Night Hike and was a teaching subject for a bit then we let him go.
Habitat:
Wooded area where there is plenty of underbrush.
