Field Notes

Description:

Black body about 3 to 4 feet long. Did not get to see the underside of body nor head very well.

Habitat:

Found in Tate Park laying on the river bank. Theses snakes usually found on shorelines of lakes, ponds, or streams.

Notes:

These snakes swim well and are not venomous.
