Thanks bayucca for always taking care of my butterflies. I'm sure you're a busy guy, no pressure for ID's. I just wanted to make sure you saw the butterflies, that's all. As always I really appreciate your ID's and the hardwork that goes into them.
I once promised, that I take care of your butterflies, I did not forget them, but this one was a little tricky.
Definitely a Nymphalidae, Satyrinae, Pedaliodes sp. and most probably Pedaliodes phaedra (form melaleuca). There is also a Pedaliodes melaleuca, but in my eyes, there is no white in the scalopped margins and the white stripe seems to be a little bit larger in Melaleuca than in Phaedra (like in yours).
