Field Notes

Description:

Thirteen Magellanic Penguin families settled in a very unusual spot, an island with green grass everywhere and they nest there.
They are quiet and sweet with people, but we need to remember they are wild birds and is necessary to keep away from them (around 2 meter).
In the pictures they were moulting because it was autumn.

Habitat:

Island at Haberton Estancia - Usuahia - Tierra del Fuego - Argentina
