Description:
Startling metallic blue damsel. Very large compared to other damsels in the area at around 2” body length and 3”+ wingspan.
Habitat:
Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.
Notes:
I see this most flamboyant of damsels quite often, but it has proven impossible to photograph at this location as it rarely moves far from the surface of the stream water and the overhanging foliage.
