Description:

Cactus looking plant with a tall woody stem coming out of the middle projecting 5 feet up. Spiky projections on the green base portion of the plant.

Habitat:

Tecolote canyon San Diego California. East west canyon. Moderate climate. Located amongst many other species. Lots of shrubbery and small other plants. Direct sunlight. No nearby water sources.
