Field Notes

Description:

Warbler with white belly, brown sides, black mask, and yellow cap and streaks on back. As I was walking through the woods, I was about chase down a yellow warbler, and as a took a step, this little warbler jumped in front of me about 5 feet away. It was seemingly unafraid of me, and just continued about foraging on the ground.

Habitat:

Secondary growth deciduous forest
