of all the TN critters I miss, salamanders get me the most...
Thanks Reiko. It is always a treat to find these. Unlike many of our salamanders, these are fall breeders and the females will guard the eggs.
Thanks! This species shows sexual dimorphism in that the banding on the males is often white.
