Field Notes

Description:

Large, flat, irregular green lichen patches with white rims. These grew only on tree trunks and branches with smooth bark. They were so flat they could barely be felt above the bark.

Habitat:

Forested areas around the Miguel Alvarez del Toro Zoo, Tuxtla Gutierrez.
