Atlantic White Cedar Fungi

This could be one of the rarest mushrooms in the world. Discovered in 1909 in an Atlantic White Cedar Swamp in NJ, it wasn't seen again until found in a cedar swamp in NH in 2005 by Bill Neill and my friend Larry Millman. (see the link for more info)
A few years ago Larry took me to see the fungi and today I went back and found at least 20 of them. Winter is the best time to access a cedar swamp, walking on the frozen snow and ice instead of slogging through a treacherous swamp in warm weather.
