Description:

A bitter orange used as a ornamental and is used as rootstock in northerly citrus groves, due to its cold hardiness. The fruit can be used for marmalade but is not palatable out of hand. It has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties which can make it useful for cleaning. Additionally, it is useful in treatment of allergies and for weight control.

Urban greenway-S. Chickamauga creek
