Field Notes

Description:

Yellow Geometrid Moth with orange and brown bands with white triangular spots, body 1 cm long. The head is covered in long yellow hair. In the fourth picture (photographed on March 8 2014) the moth is more worn and pale than the individual in the first 3 pictures. The 6th picture was taken on 21Nov2018. All are from the same place.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
