Description:
Small little rodents sounded like they had a great time foraging in the woods around our campsite at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
Habitat:
Wooded areas.
Notes:
At this location there were many gambrel oaks- this was spotted late in the growing season and I presume acorns were a large part of thier diet.
